Pamela Grace Accomplishes Academic Milestone with Master’s Degree

After two years of coursework, I am happy to announce that I have successfully earned my Master’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. This achievement is a testament to my dedication to education, my life-long pursuit of knowledge, and my profound belief in the constant investment into personal growth.

I began this journey in 2021 after my second year of teaching English at Panama City Advanced School. Through this experience I have been challenged far beyond the limits I had expected. Earning this degree required long nights of studying, writing essays, and fending off writer’s block; persevering in spite of looming deadlines, imposter syndrome, and my own stubborn habit of procrastination. However, I persevered and was able to maintain a 3.7 GPA, a full-time job, and the duties of being a single mother.

Along with earning my Master’s degree, I was consistently included on the Dean’s List and was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.

With this accomplishment under my belt, I am excited to begin contributing to the publishing industry by submitting my work for publication. I am currently working on my inaugural manuscript, Praise God for Pasties. My goals for the future include teaching college-level English and Creative Writing, as well as earning my Doctorate.
